A short way from the The Victoria Inn and the Lynfield Craft Centre is Perranuthnoe’s picturesque church. Dedicated to St.Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall, the church stands on the site of another much older church thought to date from around 1160.

Some parts of the old church were included in the later building, in particular the old font which can still be seen and the interesting Norman stone heads that surround the doorway.

Regular services are still held at the church and all are welcome to attend.
