An
Treveth is a traditional, Cornish granite house, built in the 1800’s
adjacent to Newlyn Art Gallery which is also of the same period.
The seafront walk and fantastic views of Mounts Bay are within 70
paces of the house.
Newlyn is famous for art in a number of forms including the Newlyn School and Newlyn Copper. The local art gallery is the subject of major lottery funding for a seaward extension and complete refurbishment and is due to reopen in 2007. Penlee Art gallery and tea rooms is also within a pleasant walk from the house. There are also excellent restaurants and public houses within the locality with prices to suit the regular visit or something rather special. West Cornwall, with its’ mild climate, can offer the discerning tourist so much. The remote coastal paths, the best of Cornish cuisine, unspoilt sandy cove beaches, interesting coastal villages, or the just that “wind down factor”. A double room at An Treveth costs £28 per person per night with single occupancy at £38. For full details please contact Francesca Carvill on 01736 368434 or 07761 300520 |
