Morrab gardens located at the promenade end of the road, has a famous sub tropical garden where tree ferns, palm trees, bananas plants and other exotic plants flourish.

Morrab gardens and in particular the area around the historic bandstand is a wonderful place to sit and relax . Within the gardens there is a private library with a large archive of local history.

Penlee Park is larger than Morrab Gardens and incorporates an outdoor theatre, tennis courts, football field, play area and Penlee Gallery and Museum.
