Rinsey Cove Cliff Walk

A National Trust Car Park is available just above Rinsey Cove. From the car park, Wheal Prosper engine house can be seen. Walk the cliff path towards Porthleven past Wheal Prosper and one comes upon the two engine houses of Wheal Trewavas.

Both of these engine houses are precariously sited on the cliffs. Stay on the cliff path and do not approach the engine houses, as there are open shafts.

If one leaves the car park and follows the cliff path in the opposite direction, it is only a short walk to Praa Sands.

The route tends to be rather steep in places but it is well worth persevering, for the spectacular views.

While walking the cliff path, as well as the impressive sea views, there is a bounty of wildlife to be seen.
