Towednack church is a small but charming building, in an atmospherical setting only six miles from Penzance. It has a short tower which has a legend associated with it. As the tower was being built, the devil visited it every night and demolished what had been built that day.

The church is worth a visit. Inside there is a 13TH century chancel arch, an early granite altar slab and a ancient cross carving. Outside there are two crosses, one on either side of the porch.
