Gemma Whibley produces highly observational paintings of flowers, still-life and landscapes. She was trained at Newcastle Polytechnic and lived for several years in Cambridge before moving to Cornwall in 1999.

She has exhibited her paintings in Cambridge and Penzance and also produces prints and cards currently for sale at the Lamorna Pottery near Penzance. Inspired by the incredible diversity of plant life prompted a move towards botanical painting and she has since become a member of the Society of Floral Painters and is a Silver-gilt medal winner at the Royal Horticultural Society. |
