Chy an Gof

Chy an Gof is a small friendly non-smoking guesthouse situated adjacent to Penzance Promenade in a quiet, peaceful terrace of Regency houses all of which are Grade II Listed Buildings of architectural significance, dating from the 1820s. Numerous restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance serving excellent fayre.

The Isles of Scilly are some 28 miles South West of Land's End, these you can visit, via the Scillonian ferry which sails from the harbour only a few hundred yards away.

The location of Chy an Gof is ideal for those who are going to use the Scillonian ferry. It is only a short walk, not only from the ferry but also the booking office. Additionally car parking is available for travellers to the Scillies, providing they have stayed at Chy an Gof.

By Car:

Leave A30 at the Tesco Roundabout on Eastern Green as you approach Penzance.

Use the left lane signed for Penzance Town Centre, onto the B3311.

Enter Penzance and turn left at the traffic lights into Station Road.

Continue past the Rail and Bus Station, onto Wharf Road.

Go over Ross Bridge and continue onto the Promenade, past the Bathing Pool, turning right into Regent Terrace.

By Train or Coach:

Regent Terrace is about two-thirds of a mile from the railway and coach station, which can be walked.

On leaving the Rail or Bus Station, turn onto Wharf Road, past a large car park. Go over Ross Bridge and continue onto the Promenade, past the Bathing Pool, turning right into Regent Terrace. However taxis are available from both the coach and rail stations.
